Xavier McAllister

Hi, I'm Xavier. I'm a video editor and Davinci Resolve colorist from Columbus, Ohio.

While live action editing is what I do most often, I have spent time sharpening my skills in many areas of the production pipeline. Color grading, directing, shooting, writing, you name it. I enjoy the process as much as I enjoy the product and I try to learn as much as I can when I find myself in unfamiliar territory.

I have worked on projects with all kinds of different circumstances and challenges: big budgets, no budgets, short timelines, long hours. It's not always pretty, but there is always something to be gleaned from the situation you find yourself in. I like to think that the ebb and flow of the industry is what makes it fun to be a part of; and as long as it's fun, I'll be right here waiting to see what's coming next.
